Well my problem is i dont want to buy a mod chip because im bad at soldering and i dont want to send mine into someone to solder. I am going to buy the action replay from codejunkies and want to know if they are legit about getting my package to me without ripping me off. Also i was watching a video of a guy who shows you how to do the entire process and it looked like he knew what he was doing and the game MP2 loaded so obviously it worked, but before he got it to work it reset it self like the ps2 does sometimes with swap magic, but after he tried a second time it loaded. I just dont want to buy a 40 dollar thing and have it not work. My buddy has a broadband adapter so im fine for backing up my own games. I just want to know if this is the way to go, because i would liek to have cheat codes with my games as a bonus. Any comments would help.
and i mean someone was talking about adjusting the pot of the laser. How do i know the pot of the laser by not opening the case up, because i dont have a gamebit screwdriver. Doesn't the model number tell me what the pot settings are or the version
the guy in the vid pressed reset lol , thats why it reset , i ordered max drive pro , seems ok if you use good media and your cube has not been played to death (ie is very old) , btw i got a gamebit and multimeter just to be sure
well i used to play mine alot when i got it in 2002 but for the last couple of years it has been sitting in the closet doing nothing
i mainly want to do this because i want a couple of games that are new and the used prices are not low enough yet. I want super mario strikers and super mario baseball and some other cool games.
