soft modded xbox errors

    hi i have a soft-modded xbox which i stupidly installed a new ms dash using aid and tried to boot to it using the aid disk i tried to fix it and got loads of different errors now it doesn't play games original or back ups i was wondering if i install a chip will it let me put a new hard drive strait in and lock or ftp? it because i for got to back my eeprom to PC if so could you recommend chip ?

    a modchip will fix anything :)
    with a modchip the HD dont even have to be locked...but yes it will allow you to lock it...
