Hello All, and thankx for looking into this..I have a soft modded box with a 250gig hd..I can telnet, ftp, use as webserver, or use the liux that is installed..I have evox, XBMC, And an older ver. of Avalaunch..How ever they all work!!My issue is that I can put in the OEM GAME whatever game I choose, and use dvd2xbox and that works great for playing the games from the HD..When I send a game using qwix or via ftp, the games seems to get there, however no matter what I try The game will load and and play the movie or game before you have to press the start button, however long i want to let it go on it will..When I press the start button it either goes back to the dash or locks solid..I have no Idea what to do next...
Sorry I just wasnt sure that i made my issue clear..I was also not sure that I had the right thread, at the bottom of that thread i seen advertisement.I wasnt sure that if that topic was closed..Or if anyone would respond..I'm just looking for some help..The admin can remove this thread if they would like..I do apoligize
Yes i have three times..This is how i did it..I have softmodded the drive that came in the box..Then created my backup of C/ and E/ both from that drive..Could that be my issue..Or maybe the mod that i have tried was bad, If that is the case can some one send me or post the link where i can get a good copy of this..I can take the OEm HD back to stage one and then try again..But both drives work great, Softmodded.I'm lost at this point.should I take the OEM HD back to day one..Im not sure if the disk i have will do that..I think there is a tut that will show me how to do so on this site..Thanks for the response..
Ok i have taken the drive back to OEM, I have softmodded it with a different mod.Seems to work..I will install the bigger hd whrn i get home tonight..I will se how that goes.I will post..Thanks all.
Well after installing the bigger hd I took it back to OEM..Installed the Knave1.1.1 i think is what it is..And now the games load ..I can ftp them over or use qwix they both seem to work..The only issue that I have seen so fare is the mini linux isnt there..Also when i use dvd2xbox g isnt an option..so i use E:..Then i loging ftp and move the files to the pc and delete them from E and the ftp back in and move them to f: the first time they play they just reboot the dash and then they work....yey..Thanks all for the help..I will be installing the XBMC and then maybe linux..After that I think that Im done..Everything should work great..thanks again all that helped..
