I am having a huge problem, My roomate just got an XboX the other night cuz of what I did to mine. When I dot he install to his nothing happens. the Xbox reboots, the Eject LED by the was turns Red as if its been modded, but it boots to the MS Dash. Also when it boots to the MS Dash It needs me to fix the time and says something about connecting to the Internet because Live will download some updates...
It will however play backupus no problem. but will not bring the dash up. once in a while If I Load the installer from the Memmory card (not the HDD) it will bring up the UnleashX Dash like it should but I dont want to have to run the installer everytime he wants to do something. Oh and last but not least, When I can get it to boot to UnleashX like it should right when it powers on, the bootlogo comes up, but then it loads the installer off of the HDD....
    If you can help thanks,Later
    Phil

I am not sure what the problem is but it finally worked on the 20th try or so. No I am trying to pop a 120 Gig Maxtor DiamondMax Drive in it, I have searched it on the net and have found the same drive to work, which is why i used it. I used XBOXHDM 1.9 and the process ran smoothly off of the bootable CD I made. I restarted the PC and Locked the drive with the eeprom that I place on the cd and shut it down. when I placed the drive in my XBOX the red light comes on and I get Error Code 6 - CANNOT UNLOCK HARD DRIVE.
Any Clue how to fix this?

you can put that CD you made back in your pc along with the HD and can lock the HDD through there.....
