Hi When softmodding my xbox I get an error saying FOUND EXISTING SOFTMOD after I pick CREATE MS BACKUP at the SID 4 main menu . If I pick INTALL SOFTMOD it then says MS NOT FOUND. I've tried uninstalling the softmod and tried the DELETE MS BACKUP option but still no luck. Anyone know of a fix? Thanks jb PS: this is the 2nd xbox I'm softmodding. The 1st was a breeze once I got the gamesaves on!
I have provided a very neat little trick in my tutorials which will allow you to FTP an unmodded xbox! This is particularly helpful to you as you can overwrite the current C:\ dash with a clean one and also delete the one in E:\Backup.
