has anyone sucessfully softmodded with a flash drive? if so can you please give my a little help? i've been told using a flash drive is a lot easier than ftp'ing. any help is appreciated.
Umm...I dont think you can use a flash drive...maybe then meant FLASHFXP...? Where would a flashdrive go on the xbox? I would think ftp would be MUCH easier (well for me since I transfer over nearly 1 gig of roms over...).
the flash drive would insert into the usb port. i was given some not so clear instructions on how to do this, but i'm scared to try becuz some things were explained kinda vauge. was told to d/load the linux saves, auto installer, etc onto the flash drive then insert it into the xbox. the xbox would then recognize the flash drive as part of the memory. and then could transfers all the files from there. but i don't won't to try this without a little more detailed info.
You need to get or make a modded Xbox controller or controller port. If you plan on sticking your jump drive right into your Xbox, good luck! Oh wait I just found something. Im guessing by ur name and ur ur talking about a ps2 or maybe a ps2 xbox hybrid (that would be sweet) other wise u would have to do a controller cord mod and ever that would be sketchy.
