Softmod XBOX hdd swap?

    ok. I have 2 modded xbox's. The first one is hard modded with an xecutor 2.2pro, and the other is soft modded and has unleash x dash on it. The hard modded xbox is having problems, error 5 code, but it has a 100 gb hdd. the soft modded xbox has the original 8 gb hdd. my question is, can i swap the 100gb hdd from the hard modded xbox, to the soft modded xbox without going through any "unlock/lock" procedures since both xbox's are modded?

    Why would you want to swap a drive which has problems into a softmod box?.. especially when that problem relates purely to the drive being unlocked so it can't boot the M$ dash.

    There are far too many threads on this exact same topic already.. RTFM.

    Please answer the questions there.....

    I can help you softmod the xbox you're having problems with so you don't have to even mess with the other xbox. Anyway it's better to have 2 functioning xbox's.
