Hi guys, I have a FW4.2(KOR) Wii that has been softmodded. I didnt do it myself but bought it this way. Anyways, I was having some problems running a few games and was told to update the cIOS. That would be fine but I think there is a problem with my homebrew channel. When I click homebrew channel, all I get is the blue background with the bubbles and nothing else... Im using a 320gb USB HD and it has 2 partitions. I believe one for the games, and one that is basically used as my SD card I guess. That drive has everything in order from what I can tell and has many folder in the apps folder... with the files named boot.dol. I cant figure out what is wrong.. I think there might be a communication error between the 2 drives? because I have a bunch of covers and everything in one partition, but when I load up wiiflow, the covers are paired with the games. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I was having trouble adding games.. some would get stuck on th black screen, some would flicker or be black and white. I tried forcing the region and it worked for some (SSBB) but not for others (Mario Kart) Any ideas? thanks for all the help!
Have you tried to change the option in HBC to read the USB instead of an SD? Click the 1 button on the Wii remote and select USB and see if the apps show up then, otherwise load up a SD with the apps and see if HBC will load them up then. Is the USB plugged into the outer port on the Wii?
