Always have a back up of your eeprom.bin. Backup the eeprom to your computer. Its alot "easier" to replace a HD that way, Incase the Retail drive dies . You can find your eeprom.bin In your E:/ UDATA folder , FTP the whole Folder to your computer's desktop and do a "Search" for the eeprom.bin, then put the epprom.bin in a folder labeled "eeprom backup" or someting , Peace P.S. I saw a thread where a guys HD Is broken. That is why I posted this.
I would have to research It and It would'nt be from my Experience " Actually fixing a Dead HD " , That is why I say back up the epprom.bin before a HD dies. -If I knew how to do it "how to replace a dead stock hdd in softmod , I would definitly write a tutorial, but I don't know how bud . :/
