softmodding my xbox

hi anyone out there help me witha big problem i had my xbox softmodied and my son was playing on it and he accidently clicked on settings on installer and went into xbox live now i cant get out of it everytime i load up my xbox box its trying to configue settings and updating xbox live but then it says its not available and crashes can anyone help my box is disabled and quite upset he broken it is there anyway of geting it back to original format plse yours seking desperately kevin

 

Well I don't know if this will work but this is how I fixed this problem on my Xbox: I put in Halo 2 cause I was just gonna play campaign or whatever then I clicked on Xbox Live and attempted to sign on and my Xbox connected and downloaded the dashboard and that was it.

 

i did that to my box too i had to redo my softmod in order to fix it

 

I guess there are more than one way to fix that problem.
