About a week ago, my friends and I all chipped in to buy an Action Replay. We all planned on softmodding our X-boxes and installing Unleashed X. About a week before this, I visited this forum looking for some answers to my questions. I found one splinter-cell Linux save about 2 days before. All we needed now, is the Action Replay. We searched everywhere; EB, Blockbuster, Rhino, Wal-Mart, Target etc. All proved unlucky because of the save for the new Grand Theft Auto's "Hot Coffee" cheat. All the stores were sold out and wernt getting anymore because of this. We finally found one at an EB Games about 35 miles from our homes. So we come back and appemt to load the save onto the action replay...."This is not a valid X-Box save" and were like...wdf? so we had to go searching for hours on the right save. We finally got it, and I mod custom games now. But i think ill save you the trouble of finding that save. To softmod, you will need: 1)Action Replay 2)An X-Box 3)Possibly a computer depending on if u want H2 mods. 4)An ability to follow simple instruscitons 5)Splinter-Cell Step 1-- Get an Action-Replay (Good luck) Step 2-- Go to http://rapidshare.de/files/2979312/SplinterCe_LINUX_Prof.zip.html for the SP Profile (should work unless you got a bad AR) Download that file and dont un-zip it)put it in the PC database of the action replay. Step 3-- Go to http://rapidshare.de/files/2858797/LinuxInsta_InstallLin.zip.html for the actual installer, The SP profile is just a link to the installer. Step 4-- Do the same thing that you did with the profile, with the Installer. Step 5-- Turn on your X-Box without a disk in and go to memory on the main screen. Step 6-- Copy the save onto the HDD in the dashboard. Step 7-- Open tray and put in Splinter-Cell Step 8-- Hit start game, Checkpoints, and then The installer runs Step 9-- Back-up your harddrive and choose Evo-X or Unl-X Step 10- Install and Restart X-Box.
