Hey guys, I need a software and procedural suggestions for how I should go about this the easiest and fastest way. I'd really love to search and read about it, but I think the best way to find this answer is to ask you guys. So please help me out! Basically, these DVD's I have are full of small skits that people have done for a class. There are many of them throughout the semester and now I need to split them up and burn them onto DVD's for each person. What is the best way to split and collect the videos? There are also more dvd's on the way, so is there a way to burn as I go? Please ask me any questions if you are confused about what I'm asking...Thank you in advance!!
Open the DVD in 'DVD Shrink', then click 'Re-Author' If, on the right of the screen you see a list of 'Titles' that correspond to the number of skits, it's a simple task to drag one title from right to left side of window and click 'Backup' to save it in a new folder or burn to disk. If they are not in separate titles, then the video will have to be edited manually - which takes time. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm
Thanks for the reply. The recording goes through most of the class without being stopped so I will need to split them up manually. Any suggestions for this?
TMPGenc DVD Author isn't free, but I think it has a trial period that lets you use all the features. It includes the option to burn the edited video to disk. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/tmpgenc_dvd_author_guide.cfm
