software counterfeiting

    anyone willing to give me advice here, problem is everytime i start up pc, message appears on screen , may be victim of counterfeiting, now it says download geniune software, which costs money,, anything i can do to sort it out without paying.. thanks for help in advance,

    moved to correct forum as not a pc hardware issue. find "remove wga" from microsoft & run it. do not install windows genuine advantage thru your windows updates.
