hi I have been given a Hauupage PVR PCI card but it did not come with anysoftware, i have been to their homepage but its not clear what files i need. I have heard that the actual software for this card is not very good, is there any 3rd party software i could use, all i want to do is convert some video to dvd
Hauppauge has the software available on their site for most of their products. You do need to know the model of your card to get the right set. I've been using their WinTV 2000 software with my PVR since I got it and I haven't had issues with it. There are a couple of Hauppauge specific forums that may be helpful to you too. The third one that comes up on Google ('Hauppauge Forums') is a real good one as is the first one.
