software for USB to Serial adapter

Hi Guys,
Can any one help me with where i can find a software for a usb to serial null modem adapter?

 

if you have no disc with the adaptor you can try to google for it if you have the adaptor name and model number.a commom one is prolific usb to seriel(if that is what you have then google that)also if you have a pc that runs on windows vista the driver software most likely wont work(they are not really compatable)so then you need to find a pc that runs on windows xp.
