my xbox would not read games so i took it to mexico, this electronics guy told me it was the laser. so he changed it and he said if we wanted to install a "virtual" chip. i said yes and he did it, now my xbox has a bunch of older games and i can burn games right to my xbox how can i use this to burn games? and will the games be able to be red on my xbox? all i know is that he used mechassault liniux
My friend, you have a softmodded xbox. You've joined the other hundreds of thousands that have some form of a modded xbox. Not to mention you've added to the thousands of posts already in existence within Afterdawn FORUM related to modified xboxes. CONGRATULATIONS!!
= emulator with roms More than likely the sofmod your mexican friend installed, also installed dvd2xbox. It doesn't "burn" games but it will transfer games from your xbox dvdrom drive to your xbox hdd. Put a disc in your xbox drive and look under apps in your dashboard, select dvd2xbox and follow the onscreen prompts.
