Software recomendations for converting DVD to VCD or SVCD?

    Right now I'm using "SmartRipper", and "Super DVD Ripper 2.11" to convert DVD to vob. My problem here is I can never get the subtitle/language tracks I want... Infact I can't can't manage to get subtitles at all after converting from vob to AVI or MPEG.

    If I can just get the DVD to a nice VOB file, or DVD straight to a nice video file, I would be set. I have burned video files to VCD, so from there I would be fine.

    Try ImTOO DVD Ripper which allows you to select a subtitle to convert. Download it from http://www.imtoo.com
