Hope this question is in the right place. Im a total subtitling newb. As the title suggests, Im looking for the best software to create some subtitles. -Im making Japanese subs for Japanese vids -Im using a Mac -All of my vids are mp4/m4v, and I want the final output to be the same -I only want to make hardsubs right now -Dont care in the least if I have to pay for software if its good What do you nice folks think will make me happiest? Thank you in advance.
I should perhaps add that in absence of any other recs, I was going to try Aegisub first, and then if I had problems or didn't like it I figured I'd switch to Annotation Edit.
