yes you can just use windows media player i prefer ten and when you do a search throughout you pc it will do all drives and will add all your films and videos into the videos section of the library and then all you need to do is open windows media player and go to the library and select all videos
Thanks Rickster Ive been hoping to find a catalog program not part of a media player, although I do have XP Media Center and can look into your suggestion for letting it catalog my videos. I have 4 large (160gb - 400gb) drives with hundreds of videos on them, and keeping track of the inventory is getting out of hand. If anyone knows of a third party freeware pgm to catalog and inventory video files, I'd like to hear from them. thanks again ezrider
