*SOLVED* ASUS striker bios downgrade

    I have an ASUS striker extreme motherboard which has the bios v1503 and i would like to downgrade to v1305.
    The ASUS update utility says that the old bios version is not compatible with my motherboard.
    I downloaded afudos ES(engineering sample) and ran it from dos which didn't help either.
    Is there any way at all that i can get the v1305 back?

    figured it out
    i used the original AWARD BIOS update utility. it was very hard to find but it worked!
    so if anyone else wants to downgrade their bios, just use the award bios utility instead of the asus one!
