some back up games won`t work

i got some back up games that will worked and somes that won`t worked
i have try different disk , can anyone help


thanks for the help, i have patchs the xbe files before i burn the games and i have try different brands of disk, sometime the games will work for about 2 minutes and then a error will come up saying "disk is dirty or disk is damaged or the error message come up when it trying to load the game. I also burned at a slow speed

 

Try patching the .xbe files in the games. You can use craxtion 4 to do this. There are other programs too that you can use

 

yeah,it'd either be that or the brand/type of disk you backed up your games on.

 

The burn speed can cause problems. if you burnt these yourself, make sure to stay under 2.4x. try writing your ISO to dvd with dvd decrypter. The .xbe files should'nt make any difference. I have never patched a file and never will. What ISO creating software are you using?

 

I use craxtion 4 and it patches them automatically for you, other then that i dont patch them myself.

 

Go into the option of craxtion and turn of the auto patch option. If you still have problems try different brand discs.

 

I've always burned at 4x-8x without problems. Make sure your burning program is using as much of a buffer as it will allow for and you should be able to burn at faster speeds. Nero has a 80meg max but alcohol has a nice 128 meg buffer.
