I have an anime series I'd like to burn to a DvD. It's in mkv format. It has both English and Japanese language, and English Subtitles. I would like the option to select the language and to choose whether the subtitles are on or off, when it's on a DvD. Is it possible to do this, if so how?

Firstly, to burn Mkv files to DVD you need to convert them. Click on the guides tab at the top of the page and look for "How to play Mkv files". Follow the instructions and all will be ok.
For other dvd back up guides and software suggestions, both free and pay for, go to...

If the subtitles are in the files you have, then you choose them as required, with the player settings. As long as you include them in the back up, you'll be able to select them at the player end.
    Any probs just post back.

    Cheers.
