    Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me. I just bought a pink DS lite for my daughter for xmas and want to set it up ahead of time for her. I bought an M3 DS Real (from dealextreme.com) and am using a 2GB microSD card. I'm using Sakura's latest firmware (1.42).

The software loads fine and sees the roms, but 2 of the 3 roms I've got don't work (mario kart ds and pokemon platinum). When I select the title, I get the Now Loading Screen and then both screen just go black.

The only rom that works is Princess on Ice 2 (whatever that is).

The same problem happens with System for M3i Zero & M3DS Real(19-10-2009).

I've reformatted the card twice. I'm desperate :(

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

Make sure that the roms are clean roms, if they have been pre patched they may not work.

    1) MOST important, the M3 is know for having poor contacts to the DS, put a thin piece of card between the back of the M3 and the DS - this pushes the contacts together. This can solve the above issue if its caused by poor power to the card

    Thanks for the reply!

I tried the cardborad trick, to no avail. I will test with more roms to see if the ones I have are the problem. Any other recommendations?

Hi Memmy, I've never used the Sakura firmware but I have used the '•M3G6_DS_Real_v4.5beta_E53_EuropeUSAMulti.zip' and have had no problems.

Seems like it was the ROMs. I've now tested with many others and they all work. Thanks :)
