My questions are regarding some more insight into the functionality of the M3DS Real and/or the R4DS. I've divided each question into separate sections indicated by bold letters.

    Action Replay: GBA games?
I understand both have cheat functionality for Action Replay codes. My question is here is: Do either the M3DS/R4DS allow Action Replay codes for legitimately bought (not downloaded or pirated) GameBoy Advance games? If not, is there any device that allows AR codes to be used with GBA cartridges on the DS? Or will I have to use a GBA and Action Replay device?

I Want to Manage Game Saves for both GBA and NDS
I'm mostly interested in the M3DS and R4DS for their ability to manage save games, not so much the feature to play DS/GBA ROMs. I like to keep backups of game files. My question here is: Is there another device that handles game saves other than the M3DS/R4DS? While I know the M3DS/R4DS are both very worthwhile things to get, I just want something that handles save games more so than anything else, preferably for both GBA and Nintendo DS games. I know the Action Replay Duo handles save games, but I heard it doesn't work with some of the newer DS games, and I don't think it handles GBA games.

Chance of bricking? M3DS vs R4DS
What would you say the chance of me bricking my Nintendo DS? I've heard rumors that the current batch of M3DS Reals is a bit lacking in quality, bricking some Nintendo DS's by pure chance, so I'm a bit afraid of buying one. However, I haven't read much of R4DS devices bricking by pure chance, and mostly by some other means (downloading bad firmware, etc.,) If you have any bit of info to counter this somewhat irrational fear, then please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

With the action replay codes, I am fairly sure you can't use them on GBA games, mainly because the M3 simply doesn't boot GBA games, only provides the means for a slot-2 device to do it.

The M3 will create a 512kb game save file for every game. These can be easily accessed from your MicroSD card and copied or whatever. All other carts also use these saves, but in different formats (e.g. 216kb saves etc). There should be a converter floating around, and I think the R4 team have made one to convert to R4 save format...

As for the DS bricking, I'm not so sure. I've had a M3 for quite some time now, and it hasn't bricked my DS, but some odd side-effects have occurred, such as the boot screen speeding up by almost twice its original speed...but nothing that has effected functionality.
