I just recently got into the joy of Emulators on the Xbox, and I noticed when I played DOOM, it said "No mem. pack". How would I save my game?
Also, it told when I launched a ROM, it told me choose a Video Codec, I don't know what to use, its like Rice 5.4 or something, but there is like 5 different versions.

    Thanks.

I tried that emulator, but went with surreal v1.0 because the emulators play different games with different compatibility, so its the game you want to play most that count.

You can't save data for N64 games, you have to use savestates.

As far as Rice and the different emulators goes, every1 always told me to try all of them and find the best combo myself. Good Luck!

What do you mean by Savestates?

Savestate = When you are playing a game, you save the state (the exact point you are in the game). You load the savestate up later and it takes you back to the exact point in the game.

Oh, and how would I go about doing that?

    Thanks, btw.

I only used that specific emulator for awhile, so this might not work.

But I would assume while you are playing the game, you press in the right or left thumbstick, and there should be a menu option for saving your state.

On Surreal v1.0, all I do is press in the right thumbstick while a game is running and I get the menu. In the menu I have the options to:
    1. Display FPS
    2. Save up to 5 different states
    3. Load up those 5 different states
    4. Exit back to the main menu
