Some Starview Super 3 Basic Questions

Hey Folks,

So I bought a Starview Super 3 the other day, and it is up an running nicely with 170+ channels. However, I do have a couple of queries to see if I can get the viewing experience improved and would be happy for any help.

First up some details. My cable provider is NTL. The Box Super is running with API version 705e_E. Boot Version 8.0.

First question - is there any advantage in updating my firmware to 8.00e? It seems a complicted process, so I don't want to do it unless there are tangible benefits.

Second question - I notice I have one 'PPV' channel which is Sky Box Office that comes online around 10pm. However, I thought there were a dozen or so Box Office channels. Do I just get the one or is there a way to get em all?

Third Question - anyone know if NTL carries pay-per-view events, such as boxing bouts and what have you? If they do, is there any way to get em using The BOX?

Fourth Question - The aspect ratio is a mix of 4:3 and 16:9 with NTL. I never know when switching from one channel to the next which AR I'll get. My understanding is this is an issue with NTL, and I just have to live with it. Is this correct?

if your happy with 705eE leave it,or 7.09 is latest,updating is easy if u have a null modem cable and a pc with a serial port,laptops and vista and usb can be hair pulling out time lol. no only 1 ppv and only comes on when something like boxing is shown.if ppv comes up on scan that is channel for these events,and no u cannot order anything with these boxes as no talkback.u can change tv picture mode in user setup from 16.9-4.3 and visaversa,as some channels broadcast differently ur stuck with it.adult channels are only teasers as they are not only allowed to show the good bits,only sat and internet will get over excited lol,now if u lived in uk u might get more.
