Some web pages won't display

    Topic says all some webpages won't display and when i check the source code i get this
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

    <BODY></BODY></HTML>

    Anyone know whats wrong?

    I can't give a definite answer, but from the looks of it, the page is empty anyway because the <body> tags have nothing between them. Can you give a link to one of the pages that doesn't load? That way we can see if it's just you that can't load them.

    What browser are you using?

    using ie6.0, a few sites are saiyaman.info, mangahelpers.com torrentleech.org and asiandvdclub.org Also my installers won't finish installing programs

    Your two problems may or may not be related. Not sure. But those pages seem to load normally. So I'd recommend going over your computer with an anti-virus and/or spyware removal tool if you haven't done that already. A couple decent free anti-viruses are AVG from http://www.grisoft.com/ or Avast! from http://www.avast.com/

    Afterward, you should switch from your IE browser and get either Firefox from http://mozilla.org/products/firefox or Opera from http://www.opera.com/

    If that doesn't do it, you might have to consult someone with a bit more experience than me...

    fixed itself after i downloaded windows updates, but have no clue why it did it in the first place
