Please please anyone help. I have posted before but still no luck! Baicly i have a file Divx file AVI! It wont play. Sometimes it plays sound sometimes it dont. So i no i installed the Divx codec i have tried uninstallin it and reinstalling. Nothing helps. The Divx Player plays the file but i need the file for college work and that involves Movie maker. Please can someone help. Also i should mention. I have instlled codec pack and have fund out that could be the problem so i went to add/remove programs. Removed all the packs and still the file wont play! Its not just one file its all Divx files Thanks for your time
some things you could try: 1. Uninstall the divx codec and just install the codec pack 2. Uninstall the divx codec and just install the Xvid codec. I believe it will PLAY the divx files. Also, your player might have something to do with it. You might give Media Player Classic a try or VLC media player.
