i dont have a ArMax or any of the games reqiored to softmod is there any way i can extract the gamesave to my hdd and run the save somehow.. or can i get a halo 2 save for Linux or change the game save to work with halo 2 thanx
Answer to all those questions.... No.. The games for the softmods are real cheap old ones now and just borrow a memory card and mod a pad to allow you to load it... Or you can have some serious fun with XBOXHDM and hotswapping. But even experienced modders have troubles with that. Read and learn.. heres a good primer http://www.xboxscene.com have a look at some of the old hotswap/softmod tutorials and see why they aren't recommended these days.
yea i was gonna say i just learned how to hot swap and recently i screwed up my hard dirve and had to completely erase it and reformat it,"made me fell like i was smart and important". i dont remember if i was on www.xbox-scene.com or here but it tells you how to reformat the harddrive in a tutorial i had error 13 and fixed it with no problem as along as you have your back up on the computer or xbox hard drive or you can download another one your in good business you can either format it to its original state or its modded state just by placing the right defaultxbe file and a bunch of other crap but its reallllllllly quick
