ok so i softmodded my xbox and that when fine then it got caught in a clock loop while attempting to get it out of a clock loop i deleted the files to the dash. My xbox now will load games fine but it doesnt have a dash anymore and if i try to boot it up without a game in it it will stay at a black screen forever. I downloaded aid 3.0 and am thinking i can create a restore disk from this to reinstall the MS dash. I was wondering if anyone could provide me a link or give me a tutorial on how to create a back up disk so i could reinstall the ms dash ont my xbox any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

all you have to do is restore the Ms Dash and it should give that dashboard back....

Assuming you still have the exploit save on your Xbox still, just load up the game you used to softmod and select restore MS Dash on it's menu somewhere. There are quite a few softmod installers, so I can't really give an exact explanation of where that option is, but pretty much all of them give you a way of recovering.

On a side note, I thought the newer softmods didn't suffer from clock loops? I've been using UXE for a while now so I'm not up to date on the newer installers.
