I have a PS2 v7 with a magic 3.6 installed. I'm pretty sure all of the points are installed correctly. PS1 backups and PS2 CD-R backups will boot fine every time. The problem lies in my DVD-R backups. Sometimes it'll boot right away, while other times I'll keep getting the dreadful read screen. When this happens, I hit reset and keep repeating until the DVD-R boots. Sometimes, I'm hitting the reset buttom up to 10 times! Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

I'm pretty sure this MOd V3.6 chip is the problem. I converted using V3.1 Everything is okay, but all my friends with V3.6 got the same problem. They hangup sometimes too.
Not the chip it's the clip. Not the chip it's the clip. " do da do da" Well ok it shouldn't be the chip because the 3.6 should be a 3.1 with the clips.
