Song ID

    I'm new to Mp3, so here's what I would like to know. Is there a program to identify a song from just playing it? I have a lot of unknown songs in my files and would like to correctly ID these songs.

    Yes and no.

    There is something called a finger print process. You might want to Google audio finger prints. Winamp and Media Monkey do fingerprinting. It may not be as easy and as straight forward as you would like. You may find a match or may not.
