Got 8 gigs of songs on my hard drive. they all names wrong. I know the song names.

Is there any program thats free and dont have to pay for that can select all and I can rename all 8gigs one by one myself using the program.

just out of curiosity, how is it that you have 8 gigs worth of music and the tags are wrong on ALL of them? are the filenames wrong or the id tags wrong? my favorite program is called Tag&Rename. it is an excellent id tagger and file renamer. very easy to use and has tons of features that make whatever it is you need to do less complicated. it does cost $30, however i think the demo version is unrestricted for 30 days.

hey Koola you rock. mp3 tag rocked. does exact what I want it to do. your the best, The Mp3 player mixed up the tag names. the file names and the artist names. even changed some names of artists to some other artist. but Mp3 tag is working perfect thanks a lot

I use mp3tag as my main tag editor. If the tags are just switched, Media Monkey is your baby, not mp3tag. You can highlight a batch of files (up to all of them) and have it reverse the tags. Once the tags are correct use mp3tag to correct the file names if they are wrong.
