I have a Dell Computer and as of 6 weeks ago Sonic Record Now worked perfect, now when i try to open sonic i get an error message "no disc inserted" to exit i have to cltr alt del several times and an error report is sent. According to Dell I must restore my computer back to the day i got it out of the box which is almost 3 years ago and I do not want to do that. Anyone having the same problem? I can view movies, and have an alternate dvd burning program which works great. I Only have a poblem with Sonic Record Now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Thank You
Try another program like DVD Decryptor or DVD Shrink to see if disk is recognized. If this works, you'll have to uninstall Sonic and then use a registry cleaner before reinstalling. However, there is a reasonalble possiblity that problem is not related to Sonic at all, in which case no other programs will recognize the disk either.
@debra689 Well you were half way there. You uninstalled Sonic Record Now, but then you re-installed it again. I would suggest using Nero. But as StanH1000 said, it may not actually be the Sonic Record program that is creating the issues. Try some of the free software here in the download section. A bit of trial and error. Good luck, JBurden
