Problem Sony Camcorder Hc-46 Audio Breakouts

    I have a Sony MiniDV Camcorder HC-46. When I play the MiniDV tapes, the Audio is skipping, video is just fine.
    I am trying to convert all my Video to AVI files & can't figure out what to do. I know the tapes wre originally good.

    Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
