    Just picked up this camcorder today. Got a good deal.
    I think you have a Sony, if so, what are your settings
    for a good looking movie?

    My Canon Elura 100 bit the dust........

    The Sony DCR-HC52 MiniDV camcorder is easy to use, economical to buy and takes fantastic movies for your viewing pleasure.

    Sorry that I did not respond earlier, PFloyd. I have been involved in a design project that has taken up all of my time for the past 3 months.

    I have the DCR-HC96. I shoot widescreen and don't have all of the default settings, but at the moment, I can't remember which ones that I have changed. I did use a lot of the defaults.

    I am sorry, but I don't have time now to even look at my settings. :( Let me know which settings that you want to change, and I will look to see what I have mine at.

    So far all I am using is Easy mode.
