Sony DCR-TRV280 and Vista

    I have a Sony DCR-TRV280 camcorder and the drivers won't download into my computer. It a Vista computer so are the drivers too old?

    How can i get it to work?

    I heard that a firewire would work? Does that go straight from the compute usb port to the camcorder.

    No, the firewire cable goes from the firewire connection on your camcoder to a firewire port on your computer.
