sony DRu800A inability to burn

i have a sony DRu800A dvd burner and everytime i try to burn a DVD, a message comes up telling me for instance that the image file i'm burning requires a CD-r. Or when i'm copying DVDs directly, it would say that my blank DVD does not have enough space even though the disc is empty. i use verbatim DVd+R 4x discs that look like movie reels. if anybody can help that would be great

 

what program are you using to burn??? also them are good DVD's but i would Suggest only using -R not +R and burning at 4x is perfect dont change that......use ImgBurn to Burn games.....

 

i am using the nero 6 that came with the burner.

 

go download a program called dvd decrypter thats what you should use to burn images onto dvd......
