    hi
just wanted a bit of advice
just bought the sony dscw 50 after reading a lot of good reviews and the camera looks great and it fits in pocket nice
problem im having is the shutter speed. i ride dirt bike and loked forward to taking some pice of friends but the camera is absolutley hopeless sofar
ive tried forcing iso1000 out of interest with no difference, i can almost make it blurr by a shaky hand. my friend has an old fuji a340 i think it is and the shutter is so far superior that we even took a picture of an angle grinder spinning flat out and you could read the barcode on the disk.
the thing i dont get is that in the specs the 2 cameras have the same shutter speed specified of 1/2000 of a sec.
shurley that is capable of capturing a moving object

any ideas or comments as im very dishartened by this purchase, especially for a sony

see if ye sony has a red eye reduction system on ye camera

when i got it it cost around 900 dollars

and it has a 3 pix per second setting great for action shots.
