The unit is a plug and play external burner. It was working but I unplugged it from the usb port before signing it off and now the computer won't recognize it and says there are no drivers installed for it. Does anyone out there know how I can fix this up?

I have the same external burner, nice piece of equipment. Just reinstall the burner it's as easy as that try rebooting your PC before you reinstall the drive.:p

Just let Windows find it as new hardware and install the drivers....Great drive....I use firewire with mine, tho...seems to have fewer problems than USB....

Thank you all of you. I tried hooking it up with the fire wire cable and it worked. I tried 2 different usb cables and it would not reco0gnize the drive no matter how many times I tried and rebooted, etc, etc. But it liked the fire wire cable Thanks again I'm back in business and yes it seems to be a very nice piece of equipment.
