I'm looking for a VERY good home movie camcorder for family use. Probably 60% indoor/40% outdoor use. I'm not really into editing video...I'm lazy. I something reliable and durable but simple to use. I want a good picture, but I don't want to work to get it. I'm worried the 3CCD Panasonic won't perform well with normal indoor lighting. Leaning towards the DVD-403 or HC-90. I hate the idea of dealing with a tape, FF, RWD, etc. I'm worried about the MPEG compression of the DVD. How much difference in picture quality is there between a DVD-403 and HC-90????
If you don't want to edit your video, a DVD camcorder would be a good choice. If you are looking inof on specific models I recommend http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ . They have reviews of almost every camcorder on the market.
