Well just like the title says, I bought a 50 pack of Sony DVD-R's and they do not work in DVDdecrypter. I've been burning movies for months using other brands in decrypter but it doesn't recognize these Sony's I just bought for some reason. Any thoughts or ideas for me? Or am I just going to have to bend over and go buy more? Thanks for everyone's help in advance! -matt
BikerMatt, can you tell us what your DVD Burner make and model is and also what the media code on your Sony dash R's that you just purchased?
Use the free DVD Identifier to scan the DVD for the code. That is unless you already have software that will give you the code. BTW, from the questions I can tell Scubabud has the same conclusion as I do that DVD Decrypter isn't selective with media and the problem is probably your drive and media compatibility. Check the firmware and make sure the media is compatible.
Hell if we're gonna be pedantic; + equals plus, and - equals minus. There's various schools of English who hold different opinions of the plurals of words ending with s .ie. virus's, viri, viruses, the list is endless, I prefer the simple school, following the s with an apostrophe. like virus' and minus' People who 'crit' other folks writin bug me lololol g Edit I might add people who ask questions using text chat don't get read by me.
Well, if we want to get technical, + = plus and - = minus, but it can be - = dash as in ..- = dot, dot, dash in Morse Code. Guess that . could = period too. LOL Instead of being pedantic, I'm trying to confuse things. LOL Let's all not look too closely in the mirror this morning.
Lol brobear nice 'ter see yer on these boards regular again. It seemed a bit quiet, so I (thought?) I'd join in. (it sort of, keeps things ticking over lol) all the best to you and yours, gringle.
Gringle, Nice to have the time to get on and visit with all of you for a bit. I think I'm probably a seasonal visitor of sorts. Take care and may the wind always be at your back. That's not yapping tongues either. LOL
