I was wondering why I just bought some Sony DVd+R 1 x 16 speed 4.7 disks and my Sony burner won't aknowledge them. These are the same type of disks I've used for ages with my recently updated Nero program. I tried DVD info and DVD Identifier and didn't see these on the lists. I notice different media numbers tho. So not sure whats going on....I appreciate help with understanding whats up.

Optical Drives are Unique and some times the Media that been working for you, out of the blue-moon, is not recognized anymore.
Some times is your Burner that just give up on you and is time to be up-date it.
Or could be a software problem issue.

Start with swiching Media like upgrade to Verbatim or else.

I been having problems with those DVD+R made by Sony in Mexico myself.
Do not throw them away.....save them to be use by other PC. or maybe for future use on your same PC (when out of the blue-moon maybe can be aknowledge them again).

    Hope this may help.
