I have recently bought this slim drive, but for some reason I am having problems burning dvd's with it. I have used Nero and other programs to burn but they all show the same thing. Whenever I select 4x burning for example on a dvd-r it's not starting out at 4x at all. for the first 15% of the proggress line it burns at 2.4x then at 3.4.x, and lastly at 4.1x. I've read a few forums about it, but most of them say it's not normal. The end result ends up to be a wasted disc. The other forums have not helped my much and i was wonderening if any of you guys can. Thanks.
dont worry about it, i got it to work now. I had to change the IDE wires because they sucked so yea. Everything is good now
