I just purchased a Sony DWQ-120A-B2 from Newegg.com. This is an OEM internal IDE burner and shipped with no driver disc or cables. I have the cables from my old drive which should be fine, but since the drive is OEM, the Sony support site has no drivers or firmware available.

I've read that this drive is actually a Lite-On drive that has been "Re-badged/Re-labled" by Sony. Will Windows XP automatically recognize the burner or will I need to download drivers from somewhere? Any ideas where I might be able to find them?

    Thanks everyone!

Yup, XP recognized it immediately and all of my burning programs did as well.
