Sony Picture Package & Driver

    Hi all;

    I have recently purchased a floor model Sony DCR-DVD405 camcorder. It came without the software and driver CD. Sony doesn't have it their website. Any idea where I can get a copy of that software? I am desperate.

    Have you tried Sony's website?

    If you are using WinXP, the drivers should load automatically.

    As for Sony's software, it's not very good. Try using Ulead Videostudio or Pinnacle Studio as starter programs. Much better. Free trial versions are available at their respective websites.

    Go back to where you purchased the Sony. If they don't have it, tell them to get it for you.
