Sony PS2 Progressive Scan Problems

    I have a new PS2 and a new Sony TV (32HS510). I just tried to set my PS2 to "Progressive" and have audio, but no video. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    If you dont have a tv setup option to change to progressive scan on your TV than you got shafted, your tv could be 480I and your dvd player is 480p. I am in the same predicament and kept calling the manufacturer and they give me dumb excuses like contact your dvd player manufacturer and so forth and I keep calling and one lady even hung up on me....Poor customer service.

    What type of cables are you using? I'm pretty sure you need Component Cables to run Progressive Scan, and i'm not sure that PS2 feauture the progressive scan option.
