Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me locate Drivers for a Sony VAIO (PCV-2244). It's an old model and none of the Sony sites seem to have them. I installed XP Pro with Service Pack 2 but it could not recognize them. And I lost the SONY VAIO disc so I have no idea what to do. These are the drivers I'm looking for: - Ethernet Controller - Multimedia Audio Controller - PCI Modem - VGA Compatible
Nope I tried it. They just don't have the model number I'm looking for, PCV-2244. I tried downloading some of the other drivers to models like PCV220 and PCV230 but when I burned it onto a CDRW from the laptop and took it to the Desktop it said that there was an error and could not fully install it. I guess cuz it wasn't the appropriate driver. So I am still unable to access the internet with that desktop.
just had a look on google for that model number and found out that someone else had a similar problem but they discovered that PCV 2244 wasnt actually the model number of the PC and the the real model number was PCV-RS510 so try out the drivers for that instead may answer your problems
