Ummmmmmm, the Sony website shows windows 7 drivers. http://esupport.sony.com/CA/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNZ555DN&SelectOS=5 If you like Xp better thats fine, but if you say you cant run windows 7 you havent tried very hard.
true, its too bad the level of detail in the original post left us interpreting it in 2 different ways. i've installed 7 on about 50 different machines and the only time i had a hardware issue was a card reader for an old gateway laptop. usually attempting a windows update while the hardware is connected solves the problem.
thanks guys but still no key board drivers on that support page iv looked there a few times yes Deadrum33 i have tried hard if your thinking of the windows xp mode on windows 7 not a good idea for my tools (hardware) the tools i use have smart cards in them and thats whats not supported on windows 7 just to be clear i love windows 7 over all but i need xp on my laptop
i donnt ever use the fn keys on my laptop, volume i use by the clock and brightness i change in the control panel. it is nice with the hotkeys etc, but just an annoyance for me. dont always rely on these func. keys etc. thats what i was always told.
