Anyone have experiences with these units for backup of DVD movies. Sony seems to be at the front of the pack when it comes to ensuring that any copy protected material can't be reproduced on their machines but I'm hoping that some type of DVD copy software might be able to bypass this if I'm copying a DVD from my internal PC DVD drive to a disk on one of these units. I'm leaning towrds the MC1 since we have a new baby and tons of pics on memory cardsI'd like to make into slideshows.

It does sound like a great unit but still can't find an answer to my original question.

If I'm copying a DVD from my internal PC DVD drive to a disk on one of these units, can the copy protection be sucessfully removed by DVD copy software and are there any specific software recommended?
